Payment Facilities
A payment facility is basically any way that a customer might make a payment or anywhere that you (as a merchant) might accept a payment.
Refund Fees/Fines/Deposits
All fees, fines or deposits can be refunded by applying free of charge for the service through Dubai Municipality website and uploading the following documents:
- Letter requesting the refund, including the name in Arabic and English, the phone number and the International Bank Account Number (IBAN)
- Copy of the trade license (for companies)
- Copy of the Tax Registration Number (for companies)
- Copy of the payment receipt

Invoice
Obtain an electronic copy of the original payment receipt and the tax invoice.
Fees and Fines Installments
You can request to pay your fines and fees in installments by filling in the related form and sending it by e-mail to installment@dm.gov.ae along with the required documents.

Bounced
Cheques Fines
- In case of a bounced cheque, you will be notified and charged a fine of AED 500, in addition to AED 20 (Knowledge Dirham Fee and Innovation Dirham Fee) per bounced cheque.
- The bounced cheque fine can be paid in cash or credit card.
- In case of payment failure during the specified period, legal measures will be taken.
