Refund Fees/Fines/Deposits

All Fees, Fines & Deposits can be refunded by applying free of charge for the service through Dubai Municipality website and uploading the following documents:

  • Original insurance receipt
  • A letter from the concerned authority to return the insurance
  • A copy of the company’s commercial license or the full commercial license data
  • The beneficiary bank statements
  • A copy of the certificate of completion
  • Building permit copy
  • A copy of the building permit or temporary permit
  • Certificate of completion for excavation and foundation works (two years from the date of issuance)
  • Old building permit copy
  • New building permit copy
  • Copy of works license or temporary permit
  • Copy of the achievement certificate if any
  • Letter requesting the refund, including the name in Arabic and English, the phone number and the International Bank Account Number (IBAN)
  • Copy of the trade license (for companies)
  • Copy of the Tax Registration Number (for companies)
  • Copy of the payment receipt.

Dubai Municipality’s response (Approved/Rejected) is received by SMS, within 3 working days from the date of the concerned department’s response.

If approved, the amount is transferred to the beneficiary’s account during the first week of every month.
