Refund Fees/Fines/Deposits
All Fees, Fines & Deposits can be refunded by applying free of charge for the service through Dubai Municipality website and uploading the following documents:
- Original insurance receipt
- A letter from the concerned authority to return the insurance
- A copy of the company’s commercial license or the full commercial license data
- The beneficiary bank statements
- A copy of the certificate of completion
- Building permit copy
- A copy of the building permit or temporary permit
- Certificate of completion for excavation and foundation works (two years from the date of issuance)
- Old building permit copy
- New building permit copy
- Copy of works license or temporary permit
- Copy of the achievement certificate if any
- Letter requesting the refund, including the name in Arabic and English, the phone number and the International Bank Account Number (IBAN)
- Copy of the trade license (for companies)
- Copy of the Tax Registration Number (for companies)
- Copy of the payment receipt.
Dubai Municipality’s response (Approved/Rejected) is received by SMS, within 3 working days from the date of the concerned department’s response.
If approved, the amount is transferred to the beneficiary’s account during the first week of every month.
