Marwan Bin Ghalita (Acting) – (2025-Present)

H.E. Eng. Marwan Ahmed Bin Ghalita is a prominent leader in Dubai’s government and real estate sectors. With extensive experience across key industries, he has held major leadership positions in several prestigious entities.

Currently, he serves as the Director General of the Dubai Land Department (DLD) and the Acting Director General of Dubai Municipality (DM). He has played a pivotal role in advancing Dubai’s position as a leading global real estate hub. With a strategic vision and deep expertise, he has significantly contributed to the development and implementation of real estate laws and strategies in Dubai.

• Honorary Doctorate from Amity University Dubai in recognition of his outstanding contributions
