Scientific Name: Cistanche tubulosa

A parasitic plant which obtains nutrients from its hosts plant. 

It has no chlorophyll and therefore has no green colour. 
Shaped like a pyramid made of bright yellow flowers with maroon buds at the top.
The plant can withstand saline conditions and is commonly found along the shores of the Arabian Gulf.
