Marmoom Desert Conservation Reserve
Dubai Municipality has built eight bird hides at the reserves for bird watching to promote eco-tourism and provide Dubai Residents an opportunity to connect with nature.
Tourists and families can visit the lakes throughout the year for leisure and recreation.
Before planning your trip, please see the below categories and the list of requirements:
Family/individual
Families and individuals can walk-in any time during the opening hours.
Walk-in Registration is required. Please present Emirates Id if requested by the security officer.
Photographers
Photographers who love to take pictures of nature can walk-in any time during the opening hours. Walk-In Registration is required. Please present Emirates ID if requested by the security officer.
School and University
Schools and university visits are offered an educational tour by the Protected Areas Guide. Pre-booking is required using Dubai Municipality’s Online portal Dubai Municipality – Login (dm.gov.ae). For more details, email to nrs@dm.gov.ae
Tour Company
Pre-booking is required through Dubai Municipality’s online portal Dubai Municipality – Login (dm.gov.ae). Booking of educational tour is optional. For more details, email to nrs@dm.gov.ae
Media Company
Media companies involved in commercial photography and filming in Dubai Protected areas must apply for a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Natural Reserves Section, Environmental Sustainability Department, Dubai Municipality using the online portal Dubai Municipality – Login (dm.gov.ae). Research and Education
