About the Beach:
Jumeira Beach is one of Dubai's open public beaches. It is different, however, in that it is considered a beach park stretching from the North to the South of Dubai with an area of around 5 hectares and a 1-km-long sandy beach that attracts citizens, residents and tourists alike.
Jumeira Beach is a prime destination for swimming and beach lovers. It combines a park and a beach in an artistic tapestry that blends greenery with the splendour of waves, creating an atmosphere of rest and relaxation. It also includes the most important tourist resorts and international restaurants and bars, as well as many exciting activities, events and water sports.
Beach Services and Facilities:
Jumeira Beach offers a range of services, most notably:
- Beach facilities (lifeguard services, swimming pools, beach loungers and parasols)
- Sports facilities (beach football pitch, beach volleyball court, jogging and biking trails)
- Children's play areas
- Snack bar (cafeteria)
- General facilities
Beach Guidelines:
There are general guidelines that should be followed in Jumeira Beach, including:
- No swimming after sunset, for safety reasons
- No swimming when red flag is raised
- Swim cautiously if yellow flag is raised and follow the lifeguards’ instructions
- No swimming near rocks and no crossing of signs that indicate safe swimming areas
- No littering
- No pets allowed on the beach
- No Barbecues, campfires or shishas allowed on the beach
- No overnight sleep and lodging is allowed on the beach
- No swimsuits allowed inside or outside the beach park
- No photography allowed
- Appropriate swimwear must be worn in accordance with Dubai’s customs and culture
- Children are the responsibility of their parents or accompanying adults
- The Department assumes no responsibility for any personal accident or negligence that leads to theft
- Selling and marketing within the beach park is prohibited without prior permission.

Working Hours:
- Open to the public around the clock (without any entrance or gate)
